Manchester and surrounding areas smell and taste disorders meetup

Are you living with a smell or taste disorder? You're not alone. Join our supportive community to share experiences and find others who understand what you're going through.

Fifth Sense volunteers Gerard and Jenny will be helping to host the meetup for people with no sense of smell. Gerard has personal experience of smell loss and Jenny has parosmia (distorted sense of smell). They are both looking forward to meeting you and chatting about experiences and tips for living with a smell/taste disorder.

At this meetup you can expect:

• Supportive environment: Share your journey and listen to others in a safe, understanding space.
• Resources and tips: Discover practical advice for managing daily challenges.
• Social connection: Build friendships and connect with people who truly get it.

We ask that you book a ticket for each person attending.

*Please do not wear strong perfumes and if bringing refreshments like coffee that they are in a lidded cup as there will be people with smell distortion.

When you book tickets for a Fifth Sense event through Eventcube we will collect the following personal data: your name and email address. This is how we will use your personal data when you book tickets for a Fifth Sense event through Eventcube:

• On booking, you will receive your e-ticket by email from Eventcube. This will contain a 'Join Event' button. To do this, Eventcube will hold your name, address and other personal data in their database, as outlined in their Privacy Policy. As a third party supplier, Eventcube are responsible for respecting the security of your personal data and treating it in accordance with the law.
• Fifth Sense will use your name and email address to communicate with you about the event, for example, to send you a reminder email before the event; to keep you informed about any changes to the event (if the event is cancelled or rearranged); or to send a follow-up email about the event. These emails will be sent from info@fifthsense.org.uk.
