Online Focus Group for members and supporters in or around Dundee

This online focus group will help us to capture the views of people affected by smell and taste disorders who live in or around Dundee. We want to find out what you might like to see from a local group and whether you might like to be involved. 

We are applying for some funding for a pilot project to create a stronger community for people with smell and taste disorders in Dundee. This would be a volunteer-led project, with local meetings, awareness-raising and educational activities. It would be our first step towards establishing the charity in Scotland.

We are planning on doing this in Dundee as we have strong links with the ENT service at Ninewells Hospital and Dundee Medical School. We see this as a pilot project that, if successful, we could look to replicate in other parts of Scotland, subject to funding.

Places are limited to allow everyone who is attending to have an opportunity to share their views.  If you do book a place and can no longer attend, please let us know so that we can offer the place to someone else. Thank you. 

How to join on the day

Simply click the 'Join Event' button in the Eventcube e-ticket email or the Zoom link in the reminder email from Fifth Sense. You can use either link to join the event.

Please do this at least 5 minutes before the event start time, ready for a prompt start.  Thank you.

When you book tickets for a Fifth Sense event through Eventcube we will collect the following personal data: your name and email address. This is how we will use your personal data when you book tickets for a Fifth Sense event through Eventcube:

• On booking, you will receive your e-ticket by email from Eventcube. This will contain a 'Join Event' button. To do this, Eventcube will hold your name, address and other personal data in their database, as outlined in their Privacy Policy. As a third party supplier, Eventcube are responsible for respecting the security of your personal data and treating it in accordance with the law.
• Fifth Sense will use your name and email address to communicate with you about the event, for example, to send you a reminder email before the event; to keep you informed about any changes to the event (if the event is cancelled or rearranged); or to send a follow-up email about the event. These emails will be sent from info@fifthsense.org.uk.

We will respect your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law.  We will only use this personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
