This online focus group will help us to capture the experiences and views of older adults living with a loss of smell (acquired anosmia), a reduced sense of smell (hyposmia), or a distorted sense of smell (parosmia) and / or their caregivers.

To take part in this group you, or the person you care for, must:

  • Be 65+ and experiencing acquired anosmia, hyposmia, or parosmia
  • Be willing to share your views about your experiences and the current therapies including surgery, steroids, and smell training.

This will help Fifth Sense and our partners to design studies that meet the needs of the people we represent.

Before booking your place, please read the information below about how we will collect and use your personal data to communicate with you about this event.

Places are limited to allow everyone who is attending to have an opportunity to share their views.  We are especially keen to speak to UK and US residents, but volunteers from other countries are also welcome to participate. If you do book a place and can no longer attend, please let us know so that we can offer the place to someone else. Thank you.

How to join on the day

Simply click the 'Join Event' button in the Eventcube e-ticket email or the Zoom link in the reminder email from Fifth Sense. You can use either link to join the event.

Please do this at least 5 minutes before the event start time, ready for a prompt start.  Thank you.

How to contact us if you have any questions or difficulties with booking your place, or if you book and can no longer attend the event.

You can get in touch with us by emailing  info@fifthsense.org.uk and we will be happy to help.
