Fifth Sense welcome meeting - July

This is for new members or for members who wish to find out more about: 

·  What we are doing to support those who are living with smell and taste loss or impairment

·  Smell safety and the practical steps those affected can take to reduce the risks of living with a poor, altered or no sense of smell or taste

·  How Fifth Sense members can help with our vision to transform society’s understanding of the importance of the senses of smell and taste, and the lives of those affected by smell and taste disorders.

Before booking your place, please read the information below about how we will collect and use your personal data to communicate with you about this event. 

How to join on the day

Simply click the 'Join Event' button in the Eventcube e-ticket email or the Zoom link in the reminder email from Fifth Sense. You can use either link to join the event.

Please do this at least 5 minutes before the event start time, ready for a prompt start.  Thank you.

How to contact us if you have any questions or difficulties with booking your place, or if you book and can no longer attend the event. 

How we will collect and use your personal data to communicate with you about this event

Fifth Sense respects your privacy and we are committed to protecting your personal information. We collect and process data when you register online for our events or email us with queries, suggestions or feedback.

When you book tickets for a Fifth Sense event through Eventcube we will collect the following personal data: your name and email address. This is how we will use your personal data when you book tickets for a Fifth Sense event through Eventcube:

• On booking, you will receive your e-ticket by email from Eventcube. This will contain a 'Join Event' button. To do this, Eventcube will hold your name, address and other personal data in their database, as outlined in their Privacy Policy. As a third party supplier, Eventcube are responsible for respecting the security of your personal data and treating it in accordance with the law.
• Fifth Sense will use your name and email address to communicate with you about the event, for example, to send you a reminder email before the event; to keep you informed about any changes to the event (if the event is cancelled or rearranged); or to send a follow-up email about the event. These emails will be sent from info@fifthsense.org.uk.

We will respect your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law.  We will only use this personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. IF YOU DO NOT CONSENT TO FIFTH SENSE USING YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR THIS PURPOSE, PLEASE CONTACT US BY EMAIL.

As a small UK charity, we need to find times that work for most UK members and volunteers. We welcome people from around the world. If you are outside the UK please check and confirm the start time in your own time zone.
